Hi there, my name's Zach.

I'm new to the dating scene - not a complete novice, as I've had a girlfriend in the past, but new, nonetheless. I suppose I'm here to make new friends and learn the tricks of the trade of maintaining a good healthy relationship and, if it gets to that stage, being a damn good lover.

As mentioned, I don't believe in showing off just to impress a lady - I prefer to use my upbringing and impress with my politeness. I will only show off in a limited capacity at one's request, or if it is absolutely necessary.

I'd be lying if I were to say I've never told a lie before, but I am an honest person at heart. Besides, I'm naturally a bad liar.

I have a tendency to place others before my own self. Whether that is a good or a bad thing for either you or myself remains to be seen, but, admittedly, it is a trait that I am proud of. On a related note, although I can be passionate about something that I've set my mind on, I do stop to take into account other people's feelings and ideas.

I'm not exactly the best-looking guy out there in Australia (especially because my eyes are somewhat mismatched in size), but I do see myself as quite good-looking, considering that I'm not trying to present myself as some macho-looking stud - I owe it to good basic grooming and self-presentation.

I'm still trying to sort out my plans for after university (I am currently a Commerce student at the University of Melbourne), but I'd like to get involved in the music industry. I'm not exactly a party animal, but I can dance up quite a storm after having a beer or two - the type of person who prefers to be quiet, but can be really surprising at a party.

I guess that's it about me. You might have been turned off by the majority of what I've just said (or even the length of my description), but I'm just being honest here. Whether you choose to give me a try, it's really up to you, but I am trying to be really different from the majority of the guys who are on this site.

* Someone who can be honest with me if I'm doing something bad, or if I'm making a situation really uncomfortable (this is a MUST: firstly, I am trying to improve myself, and second of all, I place others' needs before my own, so I really don't give a care if my feelings are hurt)

Oh, and if you can play drums or can sing, or if you're interested in playing music in general, all the better.

Melodic rock: this can range from Paramore and Yellowcard to melodic death metal and upbeat Japanese pop rock.

I'm not fond of today's music scene, especially hip-hop and modern RnB in general, but I am open-minded and am willing to listen to genres that I don't like if there's something catchy. That said, though, Michael Jackson and (The Artist Formerly Known As) Prince rule!
